The Biryani Chef Experience
A Feast Beyond the Plate.
Our Biryani Chef Experience invites you to roll up your sleeves and slow-cook a masterpiece — from the first layer of rice to the final flourish of garnish. Along the way, you’ll taste, sip, learn, and share — surrounded by spice, warmth, and story.
A hands-on, joy-filled experience designed for cooks, curious eaters, and anyone who believes food is a celebration.
WHAT MAKES IT AN EXPERIENCE
These aren’t cooking classes. They’re culinary rituals.
Each Biryani Chef Experience is layered with hands-on learning, sensory storytelling, and the small indulgences that turn cooking into an event.
Expect:
- A five-course hands-on workshop
- A guided journey through Indian cooking ethos and technique
- Myth-busting and skill-building — perfect for beginners
- Rich pairings: salan, raita, desserts, and drinks
- Personalised attention, small group sizes
- Photographs and videos to remember the day
- Certificate of completion + Recipe Book to take home
HOW IT WORKS
Experiences are hosted in London and beyond — typically over a weekend.
- 3 Hour Format: Fully hands-on — create your own biryani from scratch
- 2 Hour Format: Partially hands-on — cook key components with guided demonstration
- 1 Hour Format: Demonstration-based — ideal as an add-on to Dum Events or pre-orders
Small groups. Limited seats. Offered both as ticketed open events and private group bookings.
Rooted in Ritual
Because biryani is more than a dish — it’s an experience.
Our Biryani Chef Experience was born out of a desire to bring people deeper into the ritual of layered cooking — to share not just technique, but the shared joy of a table fully, richly served.
To cook, eat, and celebrate — the Dum way.
